Panel Discussion

NYC Digital Divide Streaming Webinar

Many have heard about the “digital divide” — the gap between those who have access to the internet and digital resources, and those who don’t. There’s also a divide between those who produce and control internet content, and those who merely consume it.

Black, brown, and Latino residents are disproportionately on the wrong side of that divide.

Here in New York City, community residents are closing the gap with locally produced podcasts, resident-designed apps, free Wi-Fi hotspots, and community-controlled emergency communications systems.

Join a panel of community experts, educators, and other professionals as they talk about real solutions being implemented right here in Harlem.
